I have actually had that happen. My clipper stopped working so I threw it in the garbage. Later I heard a strange buzzing. I thought there was a loose wire in my apartment. I called my super to check it out. He traced it to my clippers that had started to work. Not the proudest of my senior moments.

I have a true story about riding with my daughter in her car, and hearing a buzzing sound emanating from her purse.
I won’t elaborate except to say that you can imagine her embarrassment when I discovered the source of the noise.
