I like the term ‘Zoomies’ have always called them the Speedies. Had a Lab/Staff mix who would just tear around the yard top speed. Two weeks before he passed away at age 15 he got the speedies. I was so surprised I just watched for a bit afraid he would hurt himself but he slowed and came over to me breathing a bit hard but so happy.

My 155 pound bullmastiff frequently got the zoomies. When he got them while on leash it was a painful physics lesson
