    “What’s it need?”

    “Flushed.”

    I love that.

Yeah, I’d find an excuse to go outside, too…

you don’t want to be anyplace near the kitchen when those fumes start.

    David… I think you’re right on both counts….

but I have heard “turkey buzzards” too.

About a hundred miles away, there is a buzzard sniffing hard and saying, “Ooo! Somebody is making, Road Kill Surprise, cookies!”

“Sweet mother of baby crippled birds everywhere!” is going to be my new ‘go to’ phrase. Love it!

“Every year on March 15 since 1957, Hinckley, Ohio in Medina County has eagerly awaited the return of the buzzards at “Buzzards’ Roost” at the Cleveland Metroparks Hinckley Reservation."

Thus starts an article on the WKYC channel 3, Cleveland, Ohio, website. link posted below. Further on it mentions that turkey buzzards are also known in the U.S. as turkey vultures (and wikipedia concurs). Hinckley, Ohio, has this celebration in counterpoint to the swallows returning to Capistrano, California
