Sarah’s mom is an old batting coach. She used to exhort her players not to “step in the bucket.” Then her daughter married one. After all these years, it still galls.

Poor Larry, saddled with the mother-in-law of abiding legend. Still thinks he’s not good enough for her princess.

PS: Toby is all over those cookies like a cheap suit.

At friends of mine’s wedding, her mother kept introducing him as “My daughter’s first husband.”

Must have known something; she ended up with 3.

Well good for mom. If grandma’s going to be a crock, she deserves to be left out.

I have always been a nice mother-in-law no matter what I thought. Keeping peace in the family is well worth it.

Do we ever get to see her parents? They sound funny. Not funny Ha-Ha.
