Rump should leave this issue alone. Can’t someone take his twitter account down?

Crabby – Twitter is one of his “creative outlets” that gives us a fuller insight into his mind. Let him demonstrate how utterly disconnected he is from the world we all live in.

Our representatives in congress (with a 16% approval rating) are supposed to represent “We the People” as public servants, not impose extremist ideologies laden with immoral and unethical concepts.

Are there no decent representatives leading congress this session?

    https://www.nytimes.com/2017/11/17/us/politics/franken-sexual-abuse-mistake-apology.html

Victoria Jackson, who also overlapped with Mr. Franken on “Saturday Night Live,” said he did not have a history of acting in an inappropriate manner in that workplace, where humor was often bawdy. She remembered him telling her he was troubled she acted like “a ditz” in meetings when he knew she was smart, a comment that unsettled her but one that she ultimately did not feel was harassment.

“I have a lot of stories of sexually inappropriate things that have happened to me in my life from people in show business,” Ms. Jackson, 58, said in an interview. “As far as Al Franken, he never said or did anything inappropriate to me the six years I was on ‘Saturday Night Live.’”

The kettle took responsibility for what it did. That pot has been stewing for over a year, while lawyers block the courts, and the pot attacks his accusers.

The “take a knee” bit was wearing thin so now he have the “everyone harrassed everyone else” bit to distract us from the FACT the repugs just passed the most onerous tax rape this country has seen, including in it an “amendment” that takes away benefits under the ACA. Wake up! This is all insignificant BS compared to what is happening right under your noses. Or, in the words of a Disney character from the movie, Up, “SQUIRREL!”

JLOCKE, Franken apologized immediately and followed up with another apology in case the first one wasn’t enough. Tweedon is a grown woman. Trump burst into teens’ dressing room and propositioned a 10 year old. He BRAGGED about assaulting women. Trump has never apologized for anything. Why don’t you understand the difference in severity?

.No one is defending Franken’s actions from the past, but his current actions are a good place to start. Women that Franken has worked with talk about how he supports them. Trump’s LONG list of him grabbing and groping women is sick. Why are you defending that pervert?

@mikefive mike, over on the McCoy cartoon you yourself pointed out the difference between the seriousness of sexual harassment and sexual assault. I even complimented you on your observation. Why are you backtracking so badly here?

What else was Franken going to do but offer a tepid mea culpa ? At least Trump has never pretended to respect nor care about women. None of these men deserve to be in office.

@jlocke: The Left has done enough to chastise Al Franken. YOU however have done nothing else but shown you are political bedfellows with a psychopath. I challenge you to show otherwise!

Who can blame them? Without false equivalency, the GOP wouldn’t have any equivalency at all to talk about.

The finger-pointing trolls are out in full voice today. The whatabouts and squirrel Chasers remind me of a pack of rabid dogs. Makes me wonder what they have in their closets that they are afraid someone is going to point a finger at if they don’t keep up enough noise to hide behind?

First major difference: Al apologized, apology accepted, and he said the woman was telling the truth though memory was slightly different of the kissing event, which btw: it appears she DID perform the skit with Al on stage later. Luanne was owed an apology, and WE are owed a Senator who has done so much for women, and US, staying in the Senate to keep going after the liars and cheats in the Trump administration. Which is of course why all the multiple abusers and pedophiles are lying about their own cases, and screaming Al is the only “bad guy”. NO comparison between boorish, and CRIMINAL behaviors.

One last comment for all the trolls who are screaming for Democrat sinning heads. You all claim to be Christians so you should be familiar with this phrase. “Let you among you who is without sin be the first to cast the stone”.
