Compared to Mark, we’re having a heat wave! It got all the way up to 20 yesterday, and then down to 16 during the night. We had that ice fog pretty much all day. The trees are absolutely beautiful coated white!
We watched “3 Godfathers” last night, with John Wayne, Pedro Armenderiz, and Harry Carey, Jr. Again, another great Christmas story full of meaning. Did I ever tell you folks that on John Wayne’s grave marker it says: “John Wayne. American.”
Well, I have to start packing today. The way my back is acting up, it’ll probably take 2 or 3 days to do the job. So, enjoy your day, Villagers.
Yesterday turned out to be another lazy day. I got a lot done on my cross-stitch. I figured out that with all the hours I have put in so far, I am less than half done. And that is not daunting in the least. I’m really enjoying it.
Today is our first card game with the gang this evening. We’re both looking forward to it.
35 this morning, with an expected high of 63. That means it will probably top out at about 70. Lovin’ it!
