Someday, some way, somehow, it will be respect for all…. regardless of gender, color, religion, language, physical appearance. One of my own personal pet peeves… Height! I’ve always felt discriminated against because I’m so darn short. Too tall to be a little person, too short to be a normal person… whatever normal is…. A study done decades ago supported the opinion that taller people… usually males…. tended to be promoted over shorter people…. They must have thought that the rarefied air up there made their brains smarter.!!!! Like I said one of my pet peeves.
Too bad there’s an attempt at using political positions, left or right, to rationalize sexual harassment. The “well they do it, too” argument falls pretty flat just like “everybody does it, what’s the big deal?” or the “look at how she was dressed she was asking for it”. It is a societal problem and it’s learned behavior for males so it is also correctable if caught at an early stage. And it’s also less about sex than projecting power.

Why do women always have to interrupt when men are trying to solve sexual harassment?
