Sun peeks over the Albany Center ridge and is shining on the Lowell ridge. I like to watch the sunlight creep down that ridge and finally fill the valley. It will be closer to eight before the sun starts shining on our house.
We didn’t get to the movie yesterday after all, we’ll get there this afternoon. (hee hee)
It’s now just a week until Christmas Eve and a week later New Years, where did this year go?
On this question I leave you with blessings for the day.
We went to Wally World yesterday and found some decorations for the RV. We did a variation on the Santa-hat-on-the-mirror. We have an elf hat with ears on one side and a Santa hat complete with mustache and beard on the other. There’s also a golden star hanging below each one and a small wreath on the front. We also found some red garland stored under the bed and put that up around the windows inside. We’re looking pretty festive now.
Church this morning, then a lazy afternoon. Tomorrow starts a hectic week – Medicare meeting on Monday, prayer group on Tuesday, DMV on Wednesday, RV repair on Thursday, etc., etc., etc. Oh, and I am especially looking forward to spending 4 hours at DMV (NOT!).
The temp is about the same as yesterday, mid-40’s overnight and high 50’s during the day. Crisp.
Another gorgeous cold day yesterday. 34 during the day, and we didn’t have to go anywhere, so it wasn’t a problem. I am so sorry that I waited until the last minute to pack for this trip. It is way toooooo much for these old bones to do in 2 days. I chose to bake for the neighbors’ gifts instead of packing, so, I really can’t say I was dragging my feet. But………….too much. So, today will be the last minute things like cleaning the refrigerator and fixing the lunches. And tomorrow we will be off!

Good morning Vagabonds.
Another cold one today. Temp got down to 18 last night. Don’t think it’s much higher right now. Probably mid 20’s.
Had a good time at our daughter’s house last night. Got home late and so I slept in this morning.
Will do some more decorating today.
Glad we are not packing for a trip. I guess those days are over for us.
Peace to everyone today.
