    Good morning Vagabonds.

Well we got our snow storm. Still some coming down lightly. We got about 4 inches since the afternoon. We started out with snow, then changed to some rain and then back to snow. It is very wet and heavy and with the temp at about freezing, it’s getting hard. I guess I will have to use the snowblower to get rid of it as there are some large frozen pieces at the end of my driveway that I wouldn’t be able to lift. I guess I will get my exercise today. I won’t have to go to the gym.

May you all have a blessed day.

    Good morning Vagabonds

Snow covered morning, well only about two inches but, snow is snow.

We had a crew of tree trimmers cutting branches from around the power and phone lines. Well Friday one of the boom trucks was by the house, he drove off with his boom sill up a little. A little to high as it were. He caught our service lines and down they came lights and phone. The Vt Electric Co-op came that afternoon, but, Fairpoint (phone) didn’t get here till yesterday. Excitement galore.

Well, start changing for church soon, have a blessed day all.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Yesterday’s tea was wonderful. The church was beautiful, the fellowship was great and the food fantastic. And, as always, I was amazed at how quickly the room was returned to its normal configuration. It took over 2 hours to set up on Friday, and less than half an hour to take it all down.

It’s 32 outside, but I finally have my warm jackets with me. So it’s off to church this morning. Funny thing is that other than my jackets, almost all of my winter clothes are Christmas. I suppose that it is because we live in an area that is fairly mild all year long.

    Everyone have a blessed day.

    Good morning, Vagabonds,

Cold, cold, and more cold. Brrrr! 17 during the night and it’s warmed up to 22 right now. Supposed to get to 42. Whoopee!!

Mark, the best thing about a power failure is your new wood stove! Other than the fan to move the hot air, you don’t need electricity to run it.

We did all kinds of Christmas shopping yesterday. The stores were so crowded. However, everyone was of good cheer! Enjoy your day.

    xoxo. Happy Trails
