I don’t think there was an actual strip from 2001 where Steve actually sells the movie rights of Opus’ life. According to Wikipedia, Outland ended in 1995 and Opus didn’t start until 2003, so that alleged strip can’t belong to either.

In real life, apparently there was an Opus movie project in the 2000’s, originally by Miramax Films and then by the Weinstein Company, but it was never realized. But in that case of course it was B.B. himself who sold the rights, not a mostly-fictional character. (Of course the Opus movie never saw the light of day.)

Very funny.

Interesting that Steve’s “Comments” in the first panel could be ANY Republican that reads ANYTHING less then 100% complimentary about the Giant Orange Tweeting Yam!

So, it’s Bill the “#metoo” Cat? Poor Bill. Sold into the slimy hands of an amoral Democrat. Was that pre- or post-lobotomy (and, does it matter)? Still, duct-taping Dallas into the self-spanker might not be nearly punishment enough; as someone (Sherlock) may have said, he might even enjoy it!

Still, no adequate justice.

I’d say send this to Hillary, but she would have it worn out in half a day. Thinking about it, that would include her husband and most democrats.
