The rain has gone and the winds have died down. Boy, they really howled yesterday. Today is going to sunny with temp in the 50’s and no wind.
Busy day today. Along with my morning schedule, Barbara wants to go shopping in the afternoon at BJ’s and The Christmas Tree Shop to get a jump on things for christmas.
I’m sitting here watching the sunrise and enjoying the color and display. It’s a bit cool outside (40) and won’t get above 70 today, but it is a pretty world out there.
Another lazy day for this retiree. Maybe I’ll go shop for the ingredients for Thanksgiving dinner, maybe not. I’m not sure I have the ambition to plan 3 days ahead.
Everyone have a blessed day (even though it is Monday).
The day has started out chilly, it still is. The high to be no more than 34, or so says our weather guy.
Well we started thinking ahead last Saturday when I got the turkey and the fixings for the golden glow salad. (that’s a gelatin salad made with crushed pineapple, carrots and orange jello. yummy)
It’s going to be a pleasant week I think. And the same to y’all.
Weather’s not too bad. Still warm enough (low 40’s) to take my walk. Can’t go too far ’cause the road above our house is still snow/ice covered. But, I can get out and enjoy the beauty!
I have no idea what I’m making, or if we’re going out for Thanksgiving. I guess we’ll talk about it today. We don’t have much as far as restaurants here. The usual fast food and some chains. But the good places, the Mom & Pops are closed at dinner time, and for the holiday. Soooooo….Jack wants to go up to Great Falls, so we’ll see.
