Poor Lester. He was SO looking forward to job-shadowing day at the Ballard Street Canine Academy and Theological Seminary (BSCATS). The dogs there pronounce it “bis-cats.” It’s quite the popular joke around the dog park.

Lester is an Anxious Accounting Intern. He will bring your pencils, fully sharp. He will take notes. But his favorite job is shredding confidential materials.

There’s no accounting for Lester.

Nobody at the accounting office wants Lester there. They think that anybody who works in pencil doesn’t have confidence in their work.

Lester may not have a pedigree,

but his forebears (foredogs?) were obviously from breeds categorised by the AKC as “Working Dogs.”

It’s hard for him to be denied his true calling.
