Not the best plan for taking the Mondayness out of Monday, but I seem to have come up with a worse one: When you’re deep enough in the weeds that Saturday and Sunday are just another couple of weekdays, you’d think it would take some of the edge off Monday, but, well, not really. Onward.

My favorite job was part time: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I had a 4-day weekend every week!

Used to work ten straight days and off four. Sounds fine until the boss finds work for you on the weekdays you were scheduled off.
