I am at a loss as to how “Liberal” came to be an epithet. My basic knowledge on this may be lacking, but as I understand it, a liberal is open to new ideas, discarding old ones that no longer work. A conservative likes things as they are, does not like someone upsetting the apple cart, and has a strong sense of justice, “do the crime, Do the time”.
So in overly simplified terms, without conservatives we would not have a justice system, and without liberals we would not have progress. It’s a big country, is there not room for both? Appreciate people for who they are and the contributions they make, don’t disparage them for who they are not. Sorry TSR, i know you said No Politics, but I just had to say something. Narrow-minded fools, the ‘My way or the Highway’ types, really tick me off.
