    Hi ho Vagabonds

Blue skies looking at me. Nothing but blue skies do I see.

And that’s our weather report for today. (hee hee)

Not much going today, just a fellow coming to clean the furnace.

    Have a good day all.

    Good morning Vagabonds.

Going to be another nice day with the temp in low 70’s. Right now it’s 58.

Just have to take Barbara to the eye doctor for regular visit and then home.

    A good day to all.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Our temp will be in the low 80’s today with clouds. How it can be hotter with less sun beats me.

Rita, one of our neighbors told us yesterday that for a few years there had been a severe enough drought that the lake actually dried up. The deer herd had a really hard time during that period. She said they took a bucket and lashed it to their water spigot stand and set the faucet on a slow drip. The deer came in and drank that water regularly. She said that at one point they had 100 deer in the area directly behind their RV. She also said that when they left the campground in the spring, they left the bucket in place. When they got back in the fall, the bucket had been moved across the road to another site, but was still in full operation for the deer. Over the next couple of years, the bucket got moved around quite a bit, but was always there and full of water for the deer. Once the lake regained its water, then the bucket was no longer used. According to her, it’s still there, though, just not full of water.

Not much happening today. Michael’s working, I’m playing with my computer and Pinto’s sleeping off his early morning walk.

    Everyone have a blessed day.

    Good morning, Vagabonds,

Another great fall day. We went into town, for my Cancer Support meeting, and then to have the oil changed and the car detailed. There are two humongous weeping willows down there that are in full golden color…..MAGNIFICENT!

I’ve got a bunch of things on my list to work on today. Coffee is ready, time to scoot.

    xoxo

    Happy Trails
