    Morning, Village!

    .

Just got back from a mini-vacation in Waco. Saw the Texas Rangers Museum. The State police force, not the football team. Went to Magnolia Market and some antique shops. Visited the Dr. Pepper Museum and the Grand Lodge of Texas. Just a fun, relaxing time.

    Good morning, Vagabonds,

We finally got our “tour” of the fall colors. I expect the colors to hold for another week or so.

David, we run into historic buildings that were once Mason Lodges all over the NorthWest. The other day up in Fort Benton, there was a plaque stating this. It seems they were an integral part in our history.

Clear day today, but we’re supposed to get some showers in the afternoon. I guess the clouds just aren’t here yet.

    Have a great weekend, Everybody.

    xoxo Happy Trails

    Good afternoon Vagabonds.

Nice sunny day with temp in mid 70’s. Tomorrow is supposed to be the same.

Like Mark, we are expecting rain on Monday, about 1/2 inch. We can use it as it is dry.

May you all have a good day.

    Good afternoon, Vagabonds.

David, what a coincidence! We were in Waco yesterday as well. We stopped at the Homestead Craft Village just south of the city. It is a self sustaining religious community that has opened up their village to tourists to both see and learn the crafts. You can take lessons in blacksmithing, woodworking, weaving, basket making, etc. It was a very nice day. We plan on visiting the Texas Rangers museum tomorrow or Monday and possibly the Dr. Pepper museum (son Mike’s favorite soda).

The forecast here is for 88 and cloudy. Currently it is 78 (at 1:20 PM) so that may be optimistic. Sunrise has been around 7:30 each morning which makes us late risers unless we use an alarm. But the humidity has risen again and it’s just plain icky.

    Everyone have a blessed day.

    Hello, all you happy people.

A gray Sunday morning, a cold front will make it’s way through today. What left of Nate tomorrow.

You know our pastor’s name is Nate, maybe I can joke him a little. ;-)

Sunday, what can I say, but, have a good one.

Good Morning Vagabonds,That was a coincidence – David & Jan C both in Waco yesterday!

The weather here today was a light rain earliest this a.m., but right now it’s 81 and the sun is shining. As long as there isn’t a hurricane heading in our direction, I’m happy with the weather!

I was reading a news story yesterday about the recent hurricanes. Here’s a quote from a story about the Royal Caribbean cruise line helping folks evacuate from Puerto Rico: “ ‘Earlier this week, Adventure of the Seas arrived at Port Everglades, Fla., with “3,400 evacuees, 102 dogs, 20 cats, 3 birds, 1 hamster and 1 guinea pig,’ the cruise line’s Facebook page said. .’ ” note: Port Everglades is in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. :-)

    Morning, Village!

    .

Jan – Yes, I’ve been to Heritage Village several times! In fact, I got the pottery crafters to make me a communion chalice and plate to use on Communion Sundays. Even though I’m retired, I still display it on my desk!

    Good morning, Vagabonds,

Weather up here is still very pleasant. It got up to 58 yesterday, and down to 31 during the night. But……we will only get up to 40 today, with a 20% chance of precip. 20% won’t really do much, though.

Maybe you NorthEasters will get enough rain out of Nate to water your lawns?

    Enjoy your day.

    xoxoxo Happy Trails.

Looks like the weather man was wrong about today. It started raining in the middle of the morning, pretty steady.

    That’s New England for you.
