Love the repeated use of shared dialogue/thought bubbles here, not sure I’ve ever seen the technique employed this way before.

I’ve mentioned this before, that some comic artists have an issue with “objectifying” panel borders by having characters stand atop them, something Marvel artist John Byrne avoided critique for under the Jim Shooter editorial regime by simply making the panel border thicker …

First, it was just facial sweat; now, poor Hubbs’ shirt is drenched in the stuff in panel three. (Nice detail work, Bea!)

It’s often said that super-hot women have a tough time getting dates because many guys think such women are out of their league (to coin a phrase).

Poor Hubbs, so shy and faced with a beautiful woman’s… And a cat he likes… So much confusion, he overloads and runs. Beautifully done!

Loved it hopefully this is the start a story line.
