    Howdy Vagabonds

With sunrise at 6:44 it’s still dusky outside but getting brighter even as I wright. Again there is fog in the village.

Weather in a word, Hot, it’s expected to get to 90 again today, That’s three days in a row, according to Gary that would make an official heat wave.

McPheeters, you getting a little from Maria? Take care.

I got shelves full of cats this morning, if you want to call two cats full shelves. Dad put up shelves in some of the windows for moms plants, well, the cats have cleared the shelves for their high watching posts.

    A wonerful day to all.

Hi DKRAM – Nope, not much so far. Suspect we’ll see some rain and wind in a day or two.

    Good morning, Vagabonds,

I’m sitting in our hotel in Great Falls, with my cup of coffee. We’ll be going down to breakfast in a few minutes. I’ll probably get my standard veggie omelet with lots of spinach. (unless they have a special that’ll take me off my eating plan) Yesterday was glorious! There’s something about sitting out at the Missouri River just enjoying the sun and lazy river and ducks and geese floating by. We spent the afternoon up at Fort Benton. It was the farthest West the old steam boats came to deliver supplies to the gold rush folks. The Fort was originally an army post to protect the region, but very soon was only a trading post. The trees along the river are just starting their turn to gold. I expect another week or two and we’ll see them in full color.

I am surprised you’re still getting summer weather, Mark! We’re supposed to have the normal 70’s for a while. My favorite. Glad you’ll only get a little rain and wind from Maria, McPheeters.

Jan, that’s the one thing that bugs me about traveling…..and that’s the ole pesky time zone changes. The older I get the harder it is to adapt.

    xoxo Happy Trails

    Good morning Vagabonds.

Going to be another hot day with temp in upper 80’s.

Going out to the gym for a while then back for coffee and the paper. Don’t know what I will do after that.

Will be going to a Healing Service tonight. I’ll remember all of you.

    Good day to all.

    Good afternoon, Vagabonds.

We are now in Van Horn, Texas. And another time zone East. We will be staying in this one for a couple of months. All we need to do is remember that everything is on TV an hour earlier than we are used to. Two more days on the road to our first 3 week stop. This is a nice former KOA, but like the last two lots of gravel and almost no trees except at the back of the property surrounding a fishing pond. There are grassy patches between each campsite, though. That’s more that the last 2.

Once we got east of El Paso, the 10 really bacame a truck route. There were probably 5 trucks or more for each car on the road, and we saw no other campers. We’re limited to 65 on the road because any faster will cause damage to the car’s transmission. We’re not real popular on roads with a speed limit of 75 or 80. That’s okay. We’re enjoying the scenery and the country so far.

Everyone have a blessed evening and day tomorrow.
