I think that is what you call tone deaf, or a miserable pitch.

Some people never do.

My (maternal) grandmother grew up in Safford, Arizona whereas my grandfather in neighboring Thatcher. (Now that’s a good spiritual magazine Opal is reading there.)

Most men don’t grow up until after 50,,,then they are reliving their 20’s..

Growing up is optional, growing old is mandatory.

LOL I HAVE been to Oakley Idaho, I used to live in a nearby town. And yes it IS a Very small town !

This is so weird!! – last night I was talking to a lady, about Opal’s age, who was talking about living several years in Oakley, Idaho. Her husband was a teacher. So weird!

She never misses a chance to get in a dig. Fair play is all I’ll say.

We have some great relatives from Oakley, Idaho.

I not only know where Oakley, ID, is but I have been there (a long, long time ago). It makes more sense now knowing that it was a deliberate reference to LDS church also. It was/is a tiny town but with some beautiful old houses.

I was near there a couple months ago. I have relatives in nearby Buhl, just the other side of Twin Falls.
