When Bush 43 was pushing for the Iraq War, I was reminded of the Cuban Missile Crisis where JFK had concrete evidence of what was going on in Cuba, including detailed satellite photos. Bush pushed assumptions and lies.
.When I visited the JFK Library a few years ago, they had just opened a display of the telegrams between JFK and Khrushchev. Reading each one was chilling – even knowing the outcome you could feel the tension between the two. This were not shared publicly at the time for obvious reasons. Today you have the twit on Twitter making reckless statements versus the crazy child-man looking for attention which he seems to think is the same as respect.
