Not that different from the apocryphal W quote about the Constitution, “It’s just a g—d— piece of paper!”. Toilet paper, in the case of both W and Trump. But Trump is also well on his way to replacing the entire judicial branch with people for whom that attitude is a core tenet of their philosophy.
he’s the Nothing-Burger and Chaos president. The leader of the Nothing-burger and chaos party. Bringing their platform of chasing conspiracies about democrats and obstructing investigations into republicans. As well as their right-wing anti-conservative chaotic management style which in their own right-wing way is Making America Great Again – for certain people.
Here’s a test to see if you believe in the “Rule of Law” or just pay ‘lip service’ to it…
Imagine yourself driving along a highway in the desert and you come to a 4-way stop in the road. The the terrain is absolutely flat and without features. You have driven the road before and KNOW that any approaching vehicle would be visible and you see none in either direction… What do you do? If you answered ANY way but, "I would come to a complete stop and look both ways before proceeding!’ Then you are little if any better than the character, Gordon Gekko, in “Wall Street” and have no room to criticize any of the slime and sleazeballs in the White House or Congress!
Now here’s the problem. If you read the foregoing and the thought crossed your mind – “What a moralistic, pompous Ass!” while acknowledging the correctness of the decision from a strictly “lawful” standpoint, you would be completely correct! But the problem with that assertion is that it begs the question, how do you judge someone without also judging yourself? Bottom line is that you CAN’T; all you can do is be aware of your own mental frailty and be cautious in your judgments toward all matters.
I will now point out that Donald John Trump harbors no such mental controls. He appears to be absolutely convinced of both his moral superiority and his mental correctness! To Donnie, the answer to the test would be BOTH “I would stop.” and “I would not stop.” depending on his mood, and he would be completely convinced of the ‘rightness’ of his decision in both cases. That is the result of his "transactional " reasoning and this is one of the reasons that parents have control of their children and not the other way around. Children view the world only in relation to “me” and they must be disabused of that notion before they are ‘released’ upon the world – and Donnie has NEVER grown up, in that regard.

…or laws in general. By the way Pres, watch your head when the law “shoves you in the paddy wagon”.

Interesting how laws favor the wealthy and “equal justice for all” is never a concern to politicians after the election.

Eric Trump said the mainstream media is engaged in a “race to the bottom these days” when it comes to covering his father.
But Trump will stop the media from getting to the bottom of his crimes by hook or by crook.

Animal Farm; “All animals are equal. It’s just that SOME are more equal then others!” And, by the way, it was a PIG that said that!

I wonder how he’ll fair against the Grand Jury that Mueller has just empaneled?
