I saw one of those extreme coupon"ing" shows and it does not matter if you own a dog or not. The person put the bag of food on display, showed her friends and toldl them how much she saved that is the goal of coupon"ing".
The whole coupon thing is far more work than it’s worth. My wife clips and saves – then we get to the store, and it’s a search for the right coupon, then an argument over whether it’s acceptable. I’d rather pay that extra – what is it, $300? – per year.
Donate the dog food to an animal shelter! We used to buy a few things from the list they would post for “most needed items” and food was usually on the top 3.

I use coupons for things I need, or want to try. Last year I saved three-hundred dollars because of coupons.
