And Kris K.Kobach’s entire illegal data-mining attempt has gone down in flames, sine something like 46 states have told him to shove it!

My speculation is it’s the beginnings of a national enemies list.

Kobach and his cronies will not (actually cannot) drop the inquiry. This is because of 2 interconnected reasons. (1) Kris has made it his life’s goal to ferret out ‘voter fraud’ both in his home state of Kansas and now in the totality of America, and (2) he has been given the ‘blessing’ of his lord and master, Donald John Trump, to seek out and expose the “3 to 5 million illegal voters” who gave the hated Hillary a 2,800, 000 voter plurality!

The Republican Party has been conducting this particular ‘snipe hunt’ since the early 2000’s and it has yet to produce a shred of evidence of voter fraud that ‘voter ID’ would block. This has not stopped the individual states from instituting various forms of voter ‘suppression’, they just ignore the cries of, “show us proof!” Now, however, they want to institute voter disenfranchisement on a national scale and Little Krissy K. has been placed in charge of the search! He’s already probably got the report written, he just needs to pretend to do the search. Oh, and, by the way, requiring a voter ID card to be able to vote, unless the card is totally free and without strings attached, is what used to be called, in the days of ‘Jim Crow’, a Poll Tax, so Donnie and his minions want to return us to the pre-civil rights days of the South!

It’s also “interesting” that Trump wants to keep the “voter fraud” database in the White House.

It’s good to remember that it is The Party Of Small Government who wants to assemble a database of private information on every voter in America. Security of the information will be addressed in phase two. Or phase something.

    .

Trump Disciples believe this to be a totally legitimate function of government and are sure that no abuses will take place, and if they do, it will only be used on Those People and not on Us Real Americans.

Add identity theft to the tank. Full name, birth date, and last 4 digits of SSN. From the last 4 and the birth date, it becomes much easier to identify the rest of the SSN.

I find it interesting and telling that this ‘commission’ asked for all that data from the states before they even had their first meeting. Isn’t the first meeting the time to discuss goals, and to devise a plan to achieve those goals? How do you ask for such extensive data before you even know what you’re going to do with it, or have a plan for storing it securely?

This minor observation is quite apart from my agreement with virtually all of the comments above, regarding the entirely fraudulent nature of the commission, voter ID laws, and the whole voter fraud issue.
