I got fired and I laughed, my boss was embarrassed because the company HR type kept giving him the look. I was supposed to be crying and on my knees or something. I was glad to go and that ticked them off, LOL!
They offered him free coffee for the month, but he wasn’t allowed on the premises.
He did get a special parking spot…..across the street from the company !
My company laid me off a month after my 10th anniversary. A couple of weeks later, FedEx delivered my company 10th anniversary ring.
I went to my employer’s 35th year celebration luncheon after I retired!
Cosmo had better watch out.
