If people look for the details, CO2 is not the major contributor to climate change. It is dihydrogen oxide. This is a gas that absorbs most of the heat in the atmosphere. Graphs over millions of years plotting the CO2 in ppm, based on air samples from bubbles in amber shows that the stable CO2 level is actually around 3000ppm. We are only at 600ppm. So the earth naturally moves towards the 3000ppm whether humans have a factor or not. Besides, volcanoes spew out more CO2 than we can conserve. The one in Iceland a few years back spewed out more CO2 in a week than was conserved in the prior 10 years! So CO2 conservation is just a money making scam developed by Democrats. Heck, Kerry, founder of the cap-and-trade, has a 5% stake in a business that is predicted to be $10T annually. It is worth spending billions to get the bills passed.
I see some fancy footwork from the deniers, but you lose.
Experts stressed that the volcano contributed just a tiny amount – less than a third of one percentage point – of global emissions of greenhouse gases.
Trying to tie the number to sequestration of carbon is a dodge and a half. All you’vre really proved is that there is not enough sequestration. But that’s a dodge, because the real point is to reduce production of greenhouse gases. Because, you see,
the US Geological Survey (USGS) states: “Human activities release more than 130 times the amount of CO2 emitted by volcanoes.”
Reduce human production by say 2% and you’ve reduced more than the volcanoes add.
Oh and current CO2 levels are 400ppm, up from 280 ppm pre-industrial levels
And just where do you invent the 3000 ppm number. Is that from periods before life? And just how well do you think our foods will grow in environments both more humid and hotter? And where will the rains not fall?

Why would we expect Republicans to start using science, truth or common sense just because they are in power?
