Good morning, Vagabonds. Yesterday, I went with my cousin and her husband to meet their daughter and husband. They live in a beautiful home in a nearby city from Berlin. It was so suburban, you would think it was a neighborhood in a US suburb. Afterwards, we went to an Italian restaurant where I ate the biggest pizza I’ve ever had.

On the way we stopped at the building where my grandmother’s cousin and her husband lived before they were deported to their deaths. Their granddaughter, the cousin who I’m staying with, had put up 2 stopal steins with their names in front of the building in their memory. The photo of the stones can be seen in my Facebook.

    Good morning Vagabonds.

Arye: Glad to hear that you are connecting with all of your family and ancestry. You certainly have a large one.

Has gotten cool tonight, down into the 60’s and when it rains today it will be still cool with the temp about 70. Also the same for Tuesday.

All those along the east coast stay dry.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Once again, welcome back Arye. We’ve missed you.

Laundry day again. Sometimes I really wish for disposable clothing…..

Today’s high is only (only!?) supposed to be 94. That will be a 12 degree improvement over yesterday.

We are in the process of planning the first legs of our extended trip. If we are allowed to to all e-signatures, we will be heading out of here around the 12th of August, heading for northern CA for a few weeks, then on to Carlsbad, CA for another few weeks, then we will be heading for Whitney, TX. Thousand Trails has several campgrounds in Texas, so we will probably be staying there for a while. We are allowed 3 weeks in a single campground at a time, but we can move from one to the next immediately for another 3 weeks.

    Everyone have a blessed day.

    Good morning, Vagabonds,

Great to hear from you, Arye! So good to connect with family, isn’t it. Unfortunately there is this horrible history to deal with. I am so moved about grandmother’s family. Words fail me! God be with you.

We just had an F-16 take off from our airport and did a fly-by of our house at a screachingly low altitude. WOOHOO!!! The Captain of the Thunderbirds team’s coordination department is from Helena, and spent the night visiting with family. I take it they picked her up in a 2-seater and gave the locals a thrill. :)) They put on a pretty good show, considering the small area Great Falls is in. Approximately 20,000 people attended the air show this weekend.

    Coffee is ready. Happy Trails.
