    Good morning Vagabonds.

Today will be another hot day with some possible showers late in the day.

They seem to think that the bad weather will be going into Vermont. I don’t know if it will go far enough to reach you Mark.

Same routine as usual today. Only thing different will be going to the prayer meeting tonight. At least I don’t have to lead, I did that last week.

Hope everything is quiet for all of you today.

    Howdy Vagabonds

We still got rain in the forecast but, the strong storms like we had yesterday are over. The WCAX 3 website indicate the rain will be mostly S and E.

The only thing new is I’m taking my Jeep to the garage today for an oil change and inspection.

OK, Roger, will-co, over and out, or, later dudes.

    Good morning, Vagabonders,

It was only 84 yesterday, with more of the same today. Unfortunately, with the stagnant air, the smoke from the Idaho fires is being sucked into our area. Had to sleep with the windows closed and a fan on.

Trivia question time: What Alfred Hitchcock movie was filmed as a dramady, with the main character’s body appearing and disappearing over and over? You have three minutes to answer that one……starting now.

    Happy Trails

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Rita, that would be “The Trouble With Harry”. It was one of Shirley MacLaine’s first films, if not the first. It also starred John Forsythe, Edmund Gwenn, Mildred Natwick and Jerry Mathers (of “Leave It To Beaver” fame) as Shirley’s son. And yes, I remembered all of this – I’ve always enjoyed that movie.

I don’t remember where Hitchcock inserted himself into that one, though (he was always somewhere in each of his movies – sometimes very cleverly). Does anyone else remember?

Another typical Tuesday today. Prayer this morning, cards this afternoon. The weather is supposed to be a bit cooler (104 instead of 110) with possible thunderstorms. Yesterday we had quite the wind storm, and in other parts of the valley monsoon rains and flooding. We had about 2 drops here, and both of them on my head.

    Everyone have a blessed day.

I knew this one as well and I think I told you at one time “The Trouble with Harry” was filmed in Craftsbury, VT, about four miles down the road from my place.

Well, the out side shots anyway. They made a set in the American Legion in Morrisville, VT.

    That’s my trivia. :-)ttfn

That’s right, Mark. I remember that. Also something about they had to add fake colored leaves because it was the wrong season.

Jan, he walks through the scene when the millionaire shows up for the first time. He is much more slender then, but it was Hitch.
