    Those who can adapt and change survive. Expecting things to be as they were is not a sensible way to plan for the future.

    Anything based on subscription fees without delivering a HUGE experience for the buck is going down. ESPN quit doing that ages ago. Today’s lineup:

    Bleah. On top of which, pro sports shot itself in the foot 20 years ago, and the infection has reached massive proportions now. Selling out stadiums to corporations while allowing blackouts of home games is a guaranteed way to cause younger, less wealthy or connected people to lose interest.

    Pro baseball is dying. Attendance figures are inflated for nearly all sports.
