It’s devolved into a power struggle between the political East Coast families. Sort of like always, except there were ‘400 families’ then who jockeyed for position. Bill Clinton torpedoed THAT. Trailer trash making it in ONE generation? Not heard of, never been done. And the established ones dedicated themselves to ‘taking him down’. They had sons they had arranged for political positions for generations to get in position for a presidential run….and this guy does it in his OWN gneration? Kevin STarr was an ‘almost been’, but was p.o.‘d that he’d been parked in a judgeship, as usual, because he simply wasn’t top stuff. His anger was real, in those circles.
