This, of course, is only how Andy remembers the incident (or even the “alleged incident”), which might or might not bear a passing resemblance to objective reality! (And not only that, but Andy just might be fibbing a tad bit to Chalkie…….)
I have a little snuggle in my bed when I’m exhausted from work. People think those who work in an office just sit down all day. Umm. No we don’t. Not always. I have to do my morning tasks of changing the back up data, making sure toilets are well stocked and seeing if there is enough paper in the photocopiers. None of that involves sitting down. I also have to go to the Post Office most of the time to post letters and go to the shop to buy milk and stationary if we are running low.
Why does it remind you of Lady of Shades?
My Sunday was lovely, I danced to music on my CD Player.

I guess it’s nice to know that someone besides Andy does time in the canal.

There are different rules for police behaviour…….. They get away with brutality, we don’t.

Should have said “constable” not “officer”. It loses its Brit flavour when it’s lingo is changed.
