Facts mean nothing. To the Alt-Right crimes are only committed by Blacks or illegals. Of course to them any Hispanic or anyone resembling a Hispanic is illegal.
We all benefit from undocumented workers. Their presence in the agriculture, construction, food service, and hospitality industries get the work done and suppress wages, which keeps consumer prices down. Don’t want the undocumented? Then don’t complain about a $5 orange or the doubled labor costs of your new roof.
If the illegals were kept out, they wouldn’t account for ANY crimes. As it is, they commit a number of crimes; who cares about any comparison to legal citizens?
Not surprising that the undocumented try to behave themselves. The last thing they want is to call attention to themselves and risk arrest and deportation.
To zippy: Considering that they actually bring down the crime rate where they are heavily represented in neighborhoods, they can actually be seen as beneficial regarding crime.
And they commit a number of crimes? Are you just lumping them all together? Then I suggest lumping all white men together when we talk about mass shooters. Or all white men when we talk about white-collar crimes that robs us of many billions of dollars a year. So what do we do about all white men?
Besides which, if undocumented immigrants were not here, I am fairly certain your life would be a lot less comfortable than it is now, what with all the agricultural work, construction (including for Trump!), home care, and all sorts of other jobs they fill. Or maybe you’d like to be stooped over in the hot sun picking garlic or strawberries?
