I can’t get as upset about with the ignorant policies promulgated by the republicans as I can about the mentally ill liar who is their putative Dear Leader. He lies with every statement. This is what must be resisted. However odious the policies, the outright malignancy and lying erodes every aspect of civil society. How long will the republicans continue to support such outrageous, obvious, lying? Will we normalize lying? Will we encourage our kids to lie? How do you explain to kids that the president is a boldfaced liar? Maybe some right winger here can explain it in a rational way without more lying or deflection. Go ahead republicans, defend the lies. Start with the size of the inaugural crowds. Just calmly and rationally explain how trump did not lie to the whole country in a completely obvious and undeniable manner.
