What are you going to do? Slip the bill under their door?

Trump’s “plan” will only raise the price of goods we buy from Mexico. Or, Mexico will sell fewer products and goods here and consumers will end up paying higher prices. Either way the Americans will end up paying real money for the wall. The President* is counting on people to be too stupid to realize that and cheer him on. Good for his business, bad for our pocketbooks.

The only people who pays is US…as in all the U S.

and, dan zinger’s depiction of Mexicans isn’t racist, how? (i do agree with the criticism of trump’s policy, if you can call it that, though.)

It was all a narcissistic campaign publicity stunt ….

If Americans did not hire illegals, fewer would come looking for work. Fine the employers so heavily it is no longer profitable to hire illegal workers. But first, figure out how to pay Americans enough that they will pick crops in the field. (americans did it at one time, my white, 3rd generation, american mother picked cotton as a child in her fathers fields with her siblings)

Look for there to be a chaotic and frightening shift in society. I will admit, it is needed.

It’s actually quite simple. The wall will be paid for out of budget with borrowed money. When the Trump gets kicked out, resigns or loses reelection it will be up to a reasonable Democrat to restore financial stability to put it back into the budget process. Then the GOP will howl how he increased the national debt…Deja vu all over again….

senator graham, i think it was, when the price of tequila goes up, the wall might be in trouble.

Take a page from the Israel method.. just claim 20~30 miles south of the border.. build the fence where it fits and sell any extra land back to Mexico
