She doesn’t count, Charlie Brown. She’s not a fan and never has been!

S’okay, Charlie. Your classmates and friends other than Lucy may like it

Nobody welcomes Lucy’s comments, on anything.

Happily, Joe Shlabotnik parlayed his mediocre baseball career into becoming a long-time color announcer for Hillcrest, made many well-received guest appearances on the “This Evening” show, did commercials for Johnson Darke Beer, and costarred on the sitcom “Mr. Reliant” and in the movie series “Minor League”. Seats in remote areas of stadia are known as the “Shlabotnik seats”.

As lousy as Joe is, he’s a better hitter and fielder than Lucy, so she’s probably just jealous!

When I played Little League, every opposing player was “Joe Shlabotnik”. As in"C’mon pitcher, strike this Shlabotnik out".

In THE PEANUTS MOVIE, Snoopy threw a typewriter at her for saying his story was stupid.

On the plus side, this newsletter is probably some of Charlie Brown’s best penmanship. Not a single smudge!
