Insane. Fervently believing something that is demonstrably not true, insisting on that belief in the face of a tidal wave of facts, is the essence of “living in a castle in the sky”. That those beliefs are so hateful just makes it worse. Whether Trump and his gang believe their lies or not, doesn’t really matter. Their loyal followers DO.
