    Morning, Village!

    .

Played golf yesterday. Probably the best I’ve ever done with a 52 in 9 holes.

    .

I went all the way through Fat Tuesday without a bite of King Cake! Waaaahhh!

    Good morning Vagabonds

Current temperature outside of our door is 41 degrees. The Burlington forecast calls for a high of 62 for today, and then for the rest of the week freezing and below.

Well, it will be good for sugaring.

Ash Wednesday, 40 days till Easter. May your Lent be awesome.

    Good morning, Vagabonds,

Meeting today. Then on to Costco to stock up on fresh stuff.

My back is doing quite well, considering how turbulent the air was from San Diego to Salt Lake.

Love your avatar, Mark. Our weather is still cold with snow showers. I think that ole groundhog was right. More winter.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Mark, I agree with Rita. Your avatar is great!

Rita, I’m glad your back is doing well. How well I know when it isn’t.

By the way, while you’re at Costco, I need some CoQ-10….. (Michael has the car today, so I’m afoot.)

Mark, we watched an episode of “Elementary” the other day that was centered around the smuggling of Canadian maple syrup. It seems that their government has tight control on production and sale of the syrup. So the producers have to find alternate outlets for their “excess” production. In the show, there was a warehouse in NYC that had hundreds of barrels of the stuff (which does not go bad) and the smugglers were selling it to various restaurants around the city. At the same time, they were avoiding the (sometimes deadly) competition in their previous occupation, selling cocaine on the street. I did wonder about how many restaurants serve real maple syrup. I haven’t found one yet.

Today is a warmer day. It’s supposed to get up to 60 which is almost shirtsleeve weather. It continues to warm up to the low 70’s over the next few days.

    Everyone have a blessed day.

Jan, the real Maple Syrup is expensive even here so the real deal is probably in deed rare.

I saw that episode of “Elementary” although Maple Syrup dose not spoil it can sour (get a sour taste) so refrigeration is needed, and cold syrup is good.

    All righty then, later.
