“Guess maybe we shouldn’t have killed it so soon.”

“You’re kicked out of the party for saying that.”

I’m sure the good caring people who self-identify as Republicans will do their utmost to make sure that the world’s best healthcare will be accessible and affordable to 100% of Americans and not engage in partisanship.

He’s telling the truth…except he left out the part about “…who can afford it…”

The only way Trump can actually offer the same coverage with lower deductibles at a lower price than the current ACA plans, is if a lot of doctors & hospitals get paid less. That ain’t happening, folks.

TrumpCare is almost certain to be policies that cover a much, much more limited range of issues than the ACA, most notably, maternity benefits. What do conservatives think women will do when they find they can’t get insurance if they’re pregnant?

I think it’s amazing that the partisan divide is already predicting complete failure of Donald Trump and the destruction of our system of government as we know it. He hasn’t even been inaugurated yet! His cabinet isn’t finalized yet. Slow down folks, trust in our system that nothing as old, stodgy and bureaucratic can make all these radical changes that are being bantered about. As dug in as people were in their opinion of either Trump or Clinton reminds me of the person covering their ears with their hands and yelling la la la la la la la so they can’t hear what they are afraid of.I am a libertarian so everybody dislikes my positions on things, mostly because they think government has all our answers. Remember, our country grew to the size and power that we have because we operated with freedom and weren’t subjugated by totalitarian regimes of government. I expect there will be failures in our efforts to change. I also have faith that we can succeed if we don’t tear ourselves apart in dissension. I have avoided writing anything in this venue but just had to put my two cents in after a few years of silence.

We have a built-in inertia that resists change.

After gutting/repealing Obamacare, Republicans should repeal the law that requires ERs to treat people even if they cannot pay — you know, where all them illegals git their free health care.

Trump signaled “healthcare for all”; the government will pay for it. That’s, gasp, socialism! Where does he think he is, Canada? (the repubs might give him the boot for this)

With repeal of PPACA, millionaires get HUGE tax cuts … Does this explain anything?

A repeated GOP lie only works for idiots Varvel. You haven’t seen cancer patients dying from lack of insurance denied by the insurance industry , have you?
