I never liked rules against pets even lying on furniture.
Look, if you don’t want the animal getting on the furniture, then either don’t have the pet or don’t have the furniture. Otherwise, you might as well just give in to the inevitability of it all.
Mind your attitude, Young Lady, or you will be staying outside from now on!
