We arrived for our visit to Athens, TN, a few hours after a tornado set down less than a mile from my oldest granddaughter’s home. Her house had some damage but her family is safe. My other family members live close by and they are all safe and sound. Feeling very blessed!!!

Not much happening here until this evening. The church ladies are having an ornament and cookie exchange. I will spend the day making candy cane cookies and wrapping the ornament I bought.

I can barely see down in the valley, can’t see the ridge on the other side at all.
The eves on the porch are dripping so I guess it’s Still raining.
