    Morning Vagabonds

    .

Weather report: It’s still freaking raining. It started on Tuesday and don’t know enough to quit. There are those who need it worse than we do.

    .

And speaking of freaking, it’s freaking December already, toured the house this morning changing calenders.

    .

Well, I’m on my way, tomorrow’s another day.

    Morning, Village!

    .

Well, we got our tree decorated and the front yard done. But the house looks bare on the outside. I hate to say it, but it looks like I gotta hang some lights.<p

    Good morning, Vagabonds,

    .

It got all the way up to 30 yesterday afternoon. But, only down to 24 during the night. I think winter is staying.

We watched a good John Wayne/John Ford Christmas Western: “The 3 Godfathers”. They carried it off well from “bandits” to the 3 Wise Men. First time I ever saw John Wayne sent to jail (I think).

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

    .

Rita, The 3 Godfathers is one of Michael’s favorite movies. But then, practically anything with John Wayne is one of Michael’s favorites. I do enjoy seeing Harry Carey Jr in his earliest role. He went on to do a lot with the Duke. Wayne had quite a “posse” of favorite actors to work with, Ward Bond, Bruce Cabot and several others.

    .

I took a young friend out for a job interview this morning. She’s been out of work for a while now, and the interview was on the far opposite side of our valley. Then we went to visit with Joyce again and had lunch. All in all a nice morning.

    .

Now I’m waiting for the garage door repair man. The main spring on our roll up door broke last night. I am extremely thankful that it happened when the car was outside because that door is HEAVY! There’s no way we could have gotten the car out this morning. Also thankfully, the repair guy could come today and, I actually got home in time to meet him. I actually forgot the appointment when I took Holly out to lunch.

    .

Y’all have a blessed day, hear?
