I have a letter from my Senator who assured me that there were WMDs in Iraq and that Hussein was harboring Al Qaeda so we had to go into Iraq even though weapons inspectors said they found no evidence of it.

We had not taken care of Afghanistan where Al Qaeda actually was and started a second war. A Private knows that you do not turn your back on a fighting enemy to attack another who is not bothering you. At least Obama is trying to get us out of Iraq and go after the culprits who brought down the World Trade Centers. By the way, The casualty rate has always been higher in Afghanistan than Iraq.

Jack doesn’t care about all the water aquifers poisoned by fracting, dead Afghans, Iraqis, OR Americans as a result of keeping his Hummer humming. The little matter that tar sands or oil shale are far more expensive, $ - wise and environmentally than oil, even as filthy and expensive as THAT is, in $ and blood, doesn’t dent the brains of “conservatives” either.

Conservation and alternatives to finite resources still can’t keep up with the demand best reduced by condoms.
