Anybody complaining about a mere 25% increase in health care premiums under the ACA this year have clearly never bothered to deal with health insurance BEFORE ‘Obamacare’.

Nailed it! Obamacare constrained cost increases considerably. And in practice, most people will pay ZERO (0%) percent more, because this was considered in the plan.Single payer is better, but it’s a start.

The ACA only started in 2014. So we’re talking about 8 years vs 2 years. Which would make the increases identical.

    .

Of course, rate increases are only part of it. I wouldn’t have even had insurance without the ACA; denied for what was, to me, an utterly ridiculous reason.

Remember 9/11? Wars cause inflation. EVERYBODY, including Hillary, voted to retaliate. You biased twits can’t honestly believe it was GW’s fault— except democrats. They are the least educated or informed, so the easiest to lead by people with an agenda.

People can whine and complain about the cost of insurance, but if you’ve ever been handed a bill for $43,000 for two days in a hospital, you might reconsider.

And the 25% was just for the next year, not counting all the previous increases!

but mtretter, also consider that everyone is now covered. That is doing more for less.

What about the increase in deductibles and out of pocket?

Even if you can get insurance you can’t afford to use it!

Isn’t it obvious that the whole problem is not Obamacare or Bushcare, it’s the insurance companies. Insurance companies exist to make a profit for their management and shareholders. They do this in two ways – raise premiums (including deductibles and copays)as much as possible, and denying as many claims as they can get away with.

Get with the program, folks, single payer is the only way to go.

I bet there are a lot of people seeing this ‘cartoon’ and wishing they only will have to pay an additional 25% for their godawful obamacare insurance next year! Oh, and didn’t that liar obama promise us we’d not be paying more for health insurance under his disastrous plan way back when?

Thanks, republicans, for insisting there be no public option. (Joe Lieberman, DINO). Single Payor = everyone, sick and well, in the pool, averages out the risk.

Just remember that the ‘Health Care Industry’ spends more money lobbying in D.C. than the ‘Military Complex" and the ’Fossil Fuel Folks’ combined!
