Kris, because Ox is keeping him in line, and whatever his uncle has on him is enough to keep him from getting into more trouble. Leslie knows Ox will pound him if he tries anything funny.

In the comments yesterday, SukieCrandall wrote, “i do not think there ever was any ‘original wedding planner’ except for Brad.”

However, in the strip at http://www.gocomics.com/luann/2016/09/06, Brad said, “OK! The wedding planner can meet me at 4.” Then in the strip at http://www.gocomics.com/luann/2016/09/10, the woman from Cottage 4-2 said to Brad, “Ah! Mr. DeGroot! I’ve met your wedding planner,” to which Brad, surprised, responded “TJ?!”

So Brad must have expected to see a different person as the wedding planner at that meeting.

Oh boy, now lets spend some time with Shannon’s …. project.

An interesting way to celebrate Thanksgiving. I had expected something like the home team sharing a Thanksgiving pizza while sitting around the rubble, as Brad and Toni ate turkey MREs together at the fire.

Is that a turkey, or is that the back of Ox’s head?

To all those who partake, I wish you a Happy Thanksgiving. For those who do not, I wish for you to have great day!

Try to pound someone who can grab you by the back of your neck and hold you up at arm length until you stop swinging…

Thanksgiving seems to get the short shrift as a holiday. As soon as the Halloween stuff is off the racks at the stores, the Christmas stuff is on, and the countdown “X shopping days until Christmas!” starts. In between all that, though, is this comparatively simple day on which we get together with family and friends and simply appreciate all of the abundance we have. And there is abundance everywhere. There is always something to be thankful for. For example, I’m thankful for this strip to start my day and this little community here. Happy Turkey Day, everyone!

Why did no one think to call Mr Gray? This would have been done by lunch on Tuesday

A friend like TJ is hard to find. He has his faults, but he is a friend to the end when it comes to Brad and his family.

Leslie is still there because for maybe the first time in his life he is in a good place, with good people that aren’t putting him down, he is actually treated as an equal. A time will come when Ox steps in and covers Les’ back and he and Ox will becme good friends. Ox harbors no hard feelings toward Leslie, just not his nature.

For sentiments sake, the B.A,T. team should leave Shannon’s part as it is. Shannon has been so enthusiastic about helping, to “fix” her wall would break her confidence.

Well this is an unconventional Thanksgiving Day strip.

Good to see that Shannon is wearing her safety goggles. Obviously, she is one smart little girl.

Would someone please take the hammer away and stick that brat in a cage before she wrecks the entire house???!!!!

Shannon might have as much in the way of carpentry skills as TJ or Frank or Les.

Happy Thanksgiving. And I am grateful to have this small and innocent refuge from a troubled world.

Looks like TJ set up a play wall for Shannon so she can “help out” while the grown-ups(?) take care of the real renovations.

Y’know, Puzz, I think I’ve got the German Shepherd figured out. He or she is simply doing what lots of German Shepherds do — “marking” everything in sight.

This story line is not going as I expected, so I’ll just hang on for the ride. I think I expected Indiana Jones and got Bridget Jones instead.

Better check Les before he leaves the house – wouldn’t be surprised if he swiped some stuff to sell for cash on Craiglist.

I hope that Gunther invited Tiffany to his house for Thanksgiving, had a big dinner, and they fell asleep together on the couch while pretending to watch a football game.

Take a look at how Brad how changed in this strip. Look at Luann. And you really don’t believe Les can change? Or doubt that Ox WOULD pound him?

Still a better job than her idiot father would have done.

I suspect Shannon’s wall is a stand-alone that TJ put up for her to be busy with
