Marcus Allen scored a couple billion touchdowns, and every time he calmly handed the ball to an official. No dancing, no taunting. After all, he HAD actually been there before, and damn well acted like it!
I don’t mind ( usually ) a little end zone celebration for a touchdown but the behemoth linesmen celebrating for making a tackle or a prima dona receiver celebrating every catch is way too much. Afterall, that’s what these guys are getting paid for – blocking, tackling, running and making catches !
The problem would be greatly reduced if the TV director (whom I have ALWAYS felt never played the game) would just not show the celebration, just like they do not show people running on the field.
