I’ve always voted for whomever I wished, regardless of the political orientation of my gramma (who was a school teacher).

Cannot stand Trump, but he is right about the rigged election, in every state that does not have a photo-id requirement for voting.
It is only the electoral college votes that matter. They check ID there.

I favor stamping out “whom”. Very few sentences cannot be understood correctly without it and they can be easily re-written. “Whom” can go the way of “thee” and “ye”.
