We had a neighbor, university student, who was a music student…and she would play all sorts of music so loud that she could beard around the block. (Now there’s a law, you can’t do that!) After one particular grueling day I’d had enough. I pushed our old BBQ in front of her bedroom window and beat on it with my broom. She turned off the music to see “what was wrong”. After a debate on the decibel level of her “school work”, I informed her that I LOVE bag pipes (I do!) and have nice DVDs, and I also know when she sleeps. If she didn’t care if she upsets the entire neighborhood, then I’m sure she would not mind me upsetting her. A university education must do something for a person! She understood and complied!
