What GPS in a Pluggers car ???? My " GPS " is my " Good Practical Sense " and the ability to read maps and know where I am and where I am going !!!! No smart phones, GPS’s, or any other technical devices required. I have hiked/backpacked on desert/mountain trails, hitchhiked, driven a car/truck, and ridden a motorcycle all over this country for over 45 years and never needed some device to do my thinking and decisions for me. A person who only follows someone elses idea’s of how to get somewhere " Quickly " will miss out on most of this countries Beautiful scenery and landscapes, not to forget all the wonderful Places and People off the Grid. Speed isn’t everything ! You-all Have a Great Day and Be Safe !

We still use road maps in spite of having Navigation built into both of our cars. The map gives you a bigger picture difficult to get on a 10 inch (or smaller) screen in the center of the instrument panel…

I hate GPS. Even with updated maps, half the time, my husband’s GPS doesn’t find the best routes. Plus, people who rely on GPS tend to lose their sense of the land around them…….A premise for a disaster movie: Worldwide GPS systems go down and millions of people become lost in their own neighborhoods.

Too bad Kevin ain’t rich…he could grope, kiss, and say amything he wants to da hoe!

I do not recall any Hwy 17A near Dallas. 17A sounds more like an exit. 17B might be a business route, but not A, any with two digits will be US or Interstate. Now we have cartoon cartography, to go with the cartoon physics.

I have maps of all the neighboring states in the door pocket of my car and I’ve used them to see a lot of fun places.

My Mom was great at navigation and the maps! Me, not so much. Plus, I just relax and let hubby get lost and enjoy the ride. We always get to where we are going! Why fuss about a little extra time. Now I have to navigate, hubby is disabled.

My mom could get lost in a closet (and did once). Dad always sent the map to me in the backseat. when we were travelling. Now that He’s gone,I have to pull over and check the map, whenever I take Mom on long trips.BTW He taught me what he called “Round Navigating”, Learn major roads around where you are going and if you hit one of them pull over and check the map.
