They have to catch up with you before you can concuss them. The after-game pizza is great, though.

For comparison, the most lopsided game in NFL history — the 1940 championship game — went to the Chicago Bears over the Washington Redskins, 73-0 (60 minutes).

The 1916 Cumberland vs. Georgia Tech football game was the most lopsided in the history of college football, with Georgia Tech winning 222–0. The game was played on October 7, 1916, between the Georgia Tech Engineers and Cumberland College Bulldogs at Grant Field (now a part of Bobby Dodd Stadium) in Atlanta, Georgia.

In Ohio which uses National Federation rules unless amended. ^when a football point differential reaches 30 points after the first half, the clock will only be stopped during an official’s timeout, a charged timeout, the end of a period or after a score.

After the 30-point difference has been met, if the margin drops below 30 points, the clock reverts to regular timing.

Quarters still may be shortened in an emergency by agreement of the coaches and referee.

Darn character limit….. I suspect Mallett is lobbying here for Michigan to adopt the “Mercy Rule” for HS football.

At our high schools when one team takes such a huge lead they go into fast mode. In other words the clock never stops for anything. It ends the game much faster.

I lived in Oklahoma for a few years during the Barry Switzer era. Final scores like Oklahoma 77, Missouri 3 were not unusual, & the Sunday sports page made liberal use of terms like drubbing, pounding, shellacking, etc.

So they scored 12 times, and their field goal kicker is utter shite.
