I’m beginning to get a whiff of racism in this strip.

Good morning guys! . It’s as though GoComics has taken us back to the early days of the internet when our capabilities were limited! Soldier on, GoComics, take us back to the Arapanet days! We enjoy living in the past!

i hope in a dacade or two we will not have the same disussion about the state of mind of your president-to-be.

I took 20 years off from reading this strip, mostly because of Trudeau’s violent inability to deal with anything other than extreme left-wingism. I’ve been reading the re-runs for a bit, but now I remember why I stopped. Condescending, patronizing, lib speak at its most extreme.

I did not know the bird brain to be that vast!

I think it’s in bad taste to reprint this story line, considering that the man died of Alzheimer’s disease.

The Gipper’s dumping of the mental health hospitals in Ca, made our state a more dangerous place. The crack cocaine(which was called “rock” here in SoCal), damaged 3 or more generations. His ideas about gun control has morphed into the gun grabbing state we now have. He showed other politicons how to force their views and sell out to the highest bidder. Our country and our freedon is much the worse for it.

The beneficiaries of Reaganomics gifted him a pretty sweet retirement. Meanwhile, mental health patients in Oregon had been turned out of the institutions in droves, and were wandering the streets of Salem, dangerous to themselves and sometimes others.

Raygun was slightly smarter than W. Unfortunately, both RR and W required “handling,” and power exerts a vacuum that evil persons are always available to fill.

BTW, I’m sorry RR died from Alzheimer’s. It has to be pretty rough on families.

Fun fact: Can you name the only US leader ever convicted of war crimes by an international tribunal?Yup, that would be Ronnie Raygun, for his illegal support of terrorists across South America, and particularly in El Salvador & Nicaragua .

I’ve said it before and I’m going to say it again so long as this arc lasts. This strip is in abominable bad tastes. I’m nobody’s idea of a Reagan fan, but resurrecting strips that satirize the way the man died is sick. There’s no excuse for inflicting pain on his family this way. Shame on you, Garry Trudeau!
