The aspens in the eastern sierra just won’t quit, even after a good sized wind and snow storm over the weekend. So I am off again today just to be among them, this time with snow on the ground. Sigh. I live for the golden aspens all year long and haven’t done any chores now for a month – I need them to be over so I can get on with my life!
I once set out for a walk, passing a tree in full, glorious autumn colour near the start. Two hours later I returned – and every single beautiful leaf was on the ground, around the base of the tree.
Of course, I didn’t have a camera with me that day.
